Chianti is a unique area, because every day offers a different experience. The incredible, unique panorama of towns and villages nestled in the hills, the world's most famous works of art in the museums of Florence, Siena and Arezzo and wine tours of the local wineries and estates. All within easy reach: Piazza del Campo in Siena, the Duomo in Florence, the vineyards and medieval castles. Everything just a short hop from your Village!
Beaches, historic towns and villages and archaeological sites: the Tuscan coast is a land of tradition, from the remains of Roman temples to Livorno's fish market and the wine routes that lead to Bolgheri. Itâs a land of history, with the Etruscan fortress of Populonia overlooking the Gulf of Baratti and the ancient town of Volterra. And itâs a land of the sea, looking out towards the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, where you can enjoy the fun of surfing and snorkelling or the relaxation of sunsets on the beach. Itâs a land youâll fall in love with, we have no doubt!
It borders three regions of Italy, is home to islands large and small and is surrounded by beautiful, evocative landscapes. Lake Garda is the destination for you if you are looking for city charm, with Verona and its Arena. And if you love good food and drink, there are the local varieties of wine and the original tortellini from Valeggio. Or you can discover enchanting towns and villages, like Sirmione with its castle, as well as spending time in nature, among the flowers of the SigurtĂ Garden Park or along the cycle path on the banks of the River Mincio. A region every bit as unique as you are.
Rome is about St Peter's, the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums and the Vatican. La Dolce Vita, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. But there is so much more besides, waiting for you to explore: just outside the walls of the capital, along the coast or inland. It is here that Romans spend their weekends, among the towns and lakes of the Castelli Romani, discovering history at Ostia Antica or on the beach for a day at the seaside. And we share their enthusiasm.
